Richters has been around for a very long time in New Haven. It knows that it has a solid brand name, and because of that likes to charge a lot of money for its beers. Richters is big with college students on Monday nights, and they are most well known for their half yard beers (served in a half yard glass) which will set you back about nine dollars. Richters is populated by college students and older men, meaning that it never gets too crazy. Worthwhile if you want to grab a beer and start off the night, but not a place to stay at for a long time.
