I have nothing against hula hanks once I'm inside. It's a relatively fun bar with a good mix of people and decent drinks. I've never had a bad time at Hula Hanks,but I must say it's just like any other typical New Haven club, only with slightly more Yale people. The only problem is that it always ends up taking like a half hour to get in. Whenever I go on a Saturday or Friday night there is always a huge line outside and it always goes really, really slowly. This gets extremely frustrating, so my only comment is if you want to go, go earlier.
